Workout Strategies For Blah Days

We aren't always at the top of our game, in fact some days it's way easier to hang out in pajamas and eat ice cream.

I'm not going to totally condemn the doona day, because frankly it's awesome to just chill once in a while, but if you're after a pick me up to get moving, try one of these strategies:

Had a bad day?

Bad days happen. It's part of life. Kick that bad day in the but with some energy boosting HIIT!

Grab yourself an interval timer, set the clock for 45 seconds on, 15 seconds rest and smash out some bodyweight exercises!

Had a bad week?

Can't even think about the HIIT? A run is just too overwhelming...? We hear you sister! But you can chase that bad week away with a brisk walk. If you're feeling great at the end, try the HIIT workout!

Walking is a brilliant low impact way to get the old endorphins pumping and get the happy feels happening. Do it with a friend or a furry friend!

Had a bad month?

Sometimes life just gets the better of us and the proverbial hits the fan. If it's been a long time since you nurtured your bod with a workout, go gently on yourself with a gentle walk, some stretching, or even a yoga class.

It's amazing how quickly the happy hormones kick in and the motivation returns!
